This Family of Six Built an INCREDIBLE Home in the Arctic Circle. You Won’t Believe How They Live!

We’ve all heard the phrase, “Life is what you make it”, but how many of us truly put it to use? Benjamin and Ingrid Hjertefolger (say that name five times fast) decided to dramatically change their life by changing their living conditions. Ingrid and Benjamin chose to build a geodesic dome in the Arctic Circle. The Hjertefolger’s call their home the Nature House and we think it is just about the coolest thing ever. So, if you are like any other normal person then you’ve likely never heard of a ‘geodesic dome’ before. As it turns out, a geodesic dome is a shelled structure that features a lattice-like network of struts. You can see the ‘geodesic lines’ segmenting the glass. Pretty nifty, right?
